Multimedia systems and artificial intelligence (AI) are increasingly interlinked, leveraging each other's strengths to create more dynamic, interactive, and personalized user experiences. Here’s how AI is enhancing multimedia systems: Image and Video Processing: Recognition and Classification: AI algorithms, such as convolutional neural networks (CNNs), are used for recognizing and classifying objects, faces, and scenes in images and videos. This is useful in applications like automated tagging in social media, security systems, and content indexing.  Enhancement and Restoration: AI-based tools can enhance image and video quality by removing noise, upscaling resolution, and restoring old or damaged media. For example, AI can be used to turn low-resolution footage into high-definition content. Audio Processing: Speech Recognition and Synthesis: AI powers speech-to-text applications, enabling automatic transcription of spoken content in videos and audio files. Similarly, AI can ge

What is the Role of Multimedia in Interactive Learning for Generation Z or the developing generation What is the Role of Multimedia in Interactive Learning for Generation Z or the developing generation Computer Science Multimedia means a combination of several media that collaborate and are closely related to each other. Media consists of audio, video, images, text, computers, etc. According to Rosch in M. Suyanto's book (2005:20), multimedia generally means a combination of three elements, namely sound, images & text. In short, multimedia has devices including CD-ROM or DVD-ROM, sound cards, and speakers. Multimedia also has two types, namely interactive and non-interactive.  Simply put, the difference in type depends on the response to its use. Interactive multimedia means the user will move and respond actively and be able to select the desired scene. Examples are games, simulators, and tutorials. Meanwhile, non-interactive multimedia means that users act passively and wat
