Wifi problems
Try resetting the network settings if you still can
this solution:
I found the solution!
Yes, it solved my problem too. So the proper steps for a solution:
1) Go to settings, Wi-Fi, select the network and press the blue button. Tap "Forget this network, and confirm.
2) Now back to the Wi-Fi settings, select the network again and joined.
3) Now press the blue button and go to the line of control. Select the line and drag your finger to the left until you find the first DNS entry (entries separated by commas). In my case, for example, the first entry is 192.168.1.99 - local address on my network.
4) Use the backspace key to erase the first DNS entry.
5) Tap the "Wi-Fi Networks" to return.
6) Open safari and try to visit the site with the URL: www.apple.com example.

This works for both the iPhone 3G and iPod Touch.
JayuZmaN: There is no need to reboot the router, reset my network settings, or something like that - just follow the steps above.

By chance I had to remove the DNS address - 192.168.1.99 - actually a static address on the network has been allocated to the printer. So it is a very bad guess on the iPhone / iPod Touch section to where the local DNS server would. But other people's comments ring true, the bug seems to be on the iPhone OS and be done with fall back to the next DNS address if the first one fails - or back in a timely manner.
