REPAIR TIPS
Lately a lot of customers who use complaining since 4520 Acer laptop died. Analysis is that indeed there is a bug in this type, especially nvidia VGA problem. plus it tends to heat the AMD Turion.
Symptoms and Handling:
- Led Power Turns But No Screen Show.
In addition to general problems (memory, processor) which most often happens is the vga problem, sometimes too weak to support the IC Eeprommer bios.

- Optical Drive Not Detected
These symptoms occur due to a damaged optical components, connector (two-way process which in the optical device or that is on the mainboard) or IO controller on the mainboard has been weak.
Handling: Changing the optical, resoldering IO connector or replace the chip on the mainboard.
Solutions for those of you who have Acer Aspire 4520 is the total dead:
1. Diservice (Low cost, high risk of recurrence).
2. Replacing the mainboard (expensive costs, lower risk of death again as long as the board is not the result of reparations).
3. Sell it after repair, so that no further price falls.
Advice for you who have this type and still normal:
1. We encourage you to buy a nice cooling pad.
2. Do not use it in too long in hot environments.
3. Bring to the service to ask for cleaning also helps reduce the temperature to extend your laptop or if you can do yourself even better.
