LED TECHNOLOGY

LED technology Able to produce detailed images of more refined and more perfect than the LCD monitor. The weakness of LCD computer users who complained of by working as a graphic designer, namely the ability of images produced by the LCD is less and smooth as images produced by CRT monitors. Because using LEDs, certainly not produce flicker (blink) more often (termed as the "flicker free.") Generated by the LED lighting is more stable compared with LCD, so the stability of light and color, and sharpness can be maintained during digunakan.Konsumsi monitor energy used less (40% more efficient) than the LCD monitors that still uses a light-emitting fluorescent lamps.
Visual Graphics in LED Monitor
Computer Graphics (UK: Computer graphics) is part of computer science related to the manufacture and manipulation of images (visual) digitally. Simple form of computer graphics is 2D computer graphics which later developed into a 3D computer graphics, image processing (image processing), and pattern recognition (pattern recognition). Computer Graphics often also known as data visualization.
Physical function
A LED semiconductor diode is a kind of special. Like a normal diode, an LED consists of a semiconductor chip that is fully charged, or on-light bulb, with impurities to create a structure called a pn junction. -Cargo carrier - electrons and holes flow into the junction from electrodes with different voltages. When electrons meet the holes, he falls into a lower energy level, and release energy in the form of photons.

Light emission
The wavelength of light emitted, and therefore its color, depending on the difference in energy band of material that form the pn junction. A normal diode, typically made of silicon or germanium, emits visible light near infrared, but the material used for an LED have a difference between the energy band near infrared light, visible, and near ultraviolet.

Polarization
Unlike incandescent and fluorescent lamps, LEDs have a tendency of polarization. Chip LED has a positive pole and negative (pn) and will only fire if given forward current. This is because LEDs are made from semiconductor materials that will only allow electric current to flow in one direction and not the other direction. When given current LED reverse, there will be little current through the LED chip. This causes the LED chip will not emit light.

Chip LEDs in general have a relatively low voltage damage. When given voltage a few volts to the upside, usually unidirectional nature of the insulator will be broken causing LED current can flow in the opposite direction.
